1. Division 1 Stacking Grievance – Griffin Club vs. Balboa Park

On 4/28/17, Griffin Club Division 1 filed a stacking grievance against Balboa Park Division 1 based on the following. Balboa played a rostered Line 1 player and a rostered Line 2 player in the Line 1 position and two rostered Line 1 players in the Line 2 position.

First Jewel Krakoff (Griffin Club) read a statement to the AGC Committee regarding why Griffin Club thought stacking had occurred. Then Emily Kreshek (Balboa Park) read her statement explaining the rationale for setting the lines as she did.

Each captain was asked questions by members of the AGC and then left the room so the AGC could discuss the grievance based on the statements of both captains. After much deliberation a vote was taken. 9 members voted in favor of Griffin Club and 8 members voted in favor of Balboa Park. Balboa will be penalized one point for the use of an ineligible player and their win on Line 2 will be given to Griffin Club.

Discussions for future AGC Meetings

1. Possibility of rewording the order of strength rules
2. AGC reps should submit suggestions regarding future business

Meeting was adjourned at 2:10 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,
Barbara Garner - Secretary
